'I was slightly skeptical when booking this 4 bedroom , 2 bath home because it seemed a little too good to be true ; but I am so glad I chose this for our vacation !! 'The house was lovely, clean and spacious. However, we do have a couple of recommendations... The dining table only had 4 chairs in a house that sleeps 10 (we had 8). Please provide more chairs at the large table. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. Finally, the patio only had one chair, which was too dirty to sit on. You need more patio furniture so guests can sit outside in the morning with their coffee.'

'My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Garden Cottage! We were there for 3 days while in Kansas City for business and it was the perfect place to unwind after many business meetings. The surrounding countryside is really peaceful and the gardens area is pretty. The pond is a nice place to sit too. 'The house was clean & well stocked & very quiet inside. The only large downfall was the a/c in the 3 bedrooms did not work well at all. The entire upstairs was very hot & muggy until the sun went down. Then the mainfloor bedroom was hot all night. The house will be perfect if the a/c is figured out. 'I needed an Airb&b close to the working dog competion that we were participating in. It is a great venue with plenty of room to walk and exercise my dog. I loved the horses, chickens, ducks and especially the fresh eggs. Great service as well.'

'We come every year in September and stay at this house this year we came in September and December. Only real complaint we have is the quality and amount of toilet paper that is provided. We usually bring our own or have to go buy some and that shouldn't be a thing. '

'First, finding the house was a bit of a challenge. It's a bit hidden from the main road and not all map programs seemed to know where to go. The host is trying to get that corrected. The online photos did make the rooms look a bit larger than they actually were, AND we old folks with bad knees found the stairs to the bedrooms a bit challenging, but other than that, it was the perfect headquarters for a long overdue family reunion. 'We enjoyed our 3 day stay for an extended family of 8. Every one had a bed to sleep in a peaceful neighborhood. We were able to cook and enjoy our evenings here. The communication with the management was good. Would recommend. '

The futon in the living room could use replacing as one corner of the back of it was bent/broken so we didn't trust it would hold anyone sitting or leaning back on that side. But other than that, the place was neat, clean and nice. The hosts were responsive and the neighborhood was quiet.'

'This is a beautiful property! We never turned on a TV, but there are several screens throughout. The host has filled the home with anything a guest may need, and communication was amazing. The pool and lounge area was well used when the weather allowed. We appreciated the feeling of solitude while being close to everything.'

'This was my first stay and I really did not know what I was doing. I didn't know about the app. But I will have it before next time. The location was incredible. So were the animals. The cottage was PRFECT. I had to force myself to stop eating the muffins. I would give them a wonderful score. '
