Smelled of cigarettes and cooking oil. Please, if you have kids do not take them into this neighborhood. The house is in very rough shape, there is sketchy wiring throughout, lots of stairs that are not to code, very hot upstairs, and dirt that is just throughout the house - - because it needs to be gutted if it is going to be clean again. If this had been listed as a smoking house - - I would have stayed away. Pictures are deceiving - the 1.2 bath you can not turn around in and the neighbors can see right in since the blinds don't pull all the way down.EVERYTHING we brought into the house reeks of smoke and has to be washed - - even plastic toys and coolers,Do not stay here. It's also a very sketch neighborhood. Interstate is loud and there are a lot of homeless people wandering.

We could not get into the house, had to call several times, text and email to get someone to respond. When we arrived the trash can was filled with trash and no one collected it the entire time. The floors were filthy, there was a grime on the floor, our feet and socks were filthy. The back porch was not usable, the grim on the floor and the smell, as well as the stinky furniture made it gross. It is true that the house is very close to the stadium and such, but, it is right on the highway, you cannot be outside as the noise is deafening. The bedding was clean.

Our family and teammate traveled for the Junior World Agility team practice in KC. This home sits on the highway, its very noisy. Its dirty and rundown inside and out. Cumbersome getting into and out of the front and back doors. Neighborhood does not feel safe. Host was good about responding, however each message that she sent with a 'Link' was not a clickable link and we had to try to copy and paste into a website. It was tricky trying to get information. Billing and add-ons were a hassle.

It was a great location but the highway was right there. They do have a white noise machine that helps. The cute little house and the dogs loved the backyard.

Very Satisfied

We had a great trip and loved our stay in the Cozy Cottage. The only criticism is there needs to be a bath tub mat and some grab bars in the bath tub. Otherwise we were very comfortable and felt safe in the neighborhood.

Comfortable main floor

The living room and sunroom furniture were the most comfortable of any rental home I've stayed in. The dining room table and chairs at normal height made it easy to stay at the table and socialize. The table lamps were fun and functional. The kitchen was equipped to fix most meals. The house had an iron and ironing board! The downside was the steps going in and out of the house were an awkward height (big step) especially the one into the backyard from the sunroom. The upstairs hall light had a short so you never knew which switch would work. The wifi had been turned off and I had to reset the router. The living room light that worked off the wall switch was unplugged These things should have been checked and corrected before my visit It would help if all rentals realized that short people can be renters and a step stool was provided

I’ll start with the positives: very close to Arrowhead, very convenient after the concert, and the interior of the house was cute and nicely decorated. The negatives: cleanliness throughout, hot upstairs, area doesn’t feel very safe, and pretty loud as the house is right next to the interstate.

Go Chiefs!

Stayed for 2 nights to go to the Chiefs/Chargers game. This house is so close to the stadium and very convenient. Anyone going to a Chiefs game should definitely check this place out. Highway noise is loud. Noise machines helped a bit.

Do not Stay here!

This listing and company is nothing but liars. We arrive and they house has bullet holes. One of which the exit hole is hidden under the living room mirror. Trash piled up outside for 3 days. Trash in basement and garage. The airmatress that is there to sleep the 7th and 8th person goes flat so we slept on the floor. Grass was way over grown and the neighbors house has bars on the windows and riddled with trash. The rug on the inside living room was so dirty it turned our feet black. We called as soon as we arrived to let them know about the bullet holes and we were told How safe it was but couldn’t move us. Then on check out day 2 days later I get a email asking for a 5 star review to get 15% back. I reach out and say my review will be strictly based on how they handle me moving forward. I was promised a refund with a email confirmation and still over a week later I have no refund. Thier communication went to rude, non exist and I was told I was being a bully and harassing because I was asking to send the email showing I received a refund. The manager was so contradicting. Said she would send a email with confirmation of refund never did and got upset I asked for her to follow through. Do not stay here. My husbands bday weekend with his twin was absolutely ruined and nobody felt safe. This company is a liar. They lied on their listing and they lied about a refund. I also have picture proof of everything I’m saying in this review.

Liked everything but the freeway noise. Well ...

... actually, I liked everything, its the wife that couldn't sleep with the freeway noise, so she took the bedroom over the garage which concealed the noise better with the window air conditioner.

nice clean home!

This is a clean quaint property with a great coffee bar! Check in was easy great communication from the property managers, and the yard was Dachshund proof. The property owners provided a noise machine if you are a light sleeper, as there is highway noise. I did not have that issue and neither did my friends. We will stay here again.

Everything was perfect. House has everything you would need. Our Family just went through a house fire and needed a week to gather ourselves until we could get into our new lease.
