Summary:

Loft has been beautifully renovated with all new kitchens, bathrooms, furnishings etc. Located in the heart of downtown, blocks from Convention Center, Power & Light District, Sprint Center & free KC Streetcar that will take you from River Market to Crown Center and Union Station.

Inside a building registered in the National Historic Registry. With all the modern amenities while preserving historic details like exposed brick and bead board ceilings! Guests have access to gym and rooftop deck!



The Space:

Space has been beautifully appointed with all modern amenities. Brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Kitchen is outfitted with coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots pans dishes, utensils etc. There is a washer and dryer as well as hair dryer and iron.



Guest Access:

Beautiful rooftop deck with amazing views of downtown. Access to gym.



The Neighborhood:

Loft is situated a few blocks from Convention Center/Bartle Hall, Power & Light District, Sprint Center and River Market. The KC Streetcar that is free to ride is a short walk and will take you to River Market, Union Station, Crown Center with stops along downtown. 9 miles from Arrowhead Stadium and KC Royals Stadium.



Getting Around:

If you have a vehicle; here are your parking options:

1. There is paid 2 hr parking on the street M-F from 7am-6pm. Rate is .25cents per 15 minutes. It is free from 6pm to 7am and on weekends, Saturday and Sunday, you can park all day without having to move. All other street parking times are 2 hours paid parking. You can pay on the app Park KC, pay by text KC6315 to 53242 or pay at the nearest Kiosk. More ways to pay listed on the sign. Kansas City has updated the parking ordinance throughout the city *Please always follow the instructions on the posted parking signs.

2. There is paid parking on the lot next to the building. It is the 2nd driveway past the front door. The sign to the entrance says MIDCON MNGMT- PERMIT PARKING ONLY. There is a sign under the tree with a QR Code. You can pay for parking by scanning the QR code, entering your license plate number. You can choose an hourly option or per 24hrs for $10.00. There is usually plenty of parking.

3. Downtown Central Library garage is on 10th St. and Baltimore. They charge by the hour with a max of $10 per day. Address to the library is 14 West 10th St.



Other Things to Note:

Loft is fully stocked with all bedding, towels, shampoo, soap etc. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender etc. We provide you with coffee, creamer etc.! Free Wi-Fi!

I can be reached 24/7 for any questions or issues. We have a manager available as well to take care of the guest.

The communication was wonderful. The location was close to River Market. I liked the reminders about the codes, address, and details. It made the trip so enjoyable. It was like having a personal assistant in your back pocket. The parking is close and VERY easy to utilize. The building had security (codes to get into the building and codes to get into the elevator and into the apartment). We really enjoyed the access to the "rooftop". The unit was SO LARGE, so it accommodated our 6 adult children. We would absolutely stay at the location again. Very attentive hostess.

This was a great place to stay. It was just as it was listed, it was clean and inviting after a long day at a conference. There was great communication to make sure that I had everything that I needed. Additionally, the rooftop patio was a great place to work a little and unwind. The loft was beautiful and as pictured, with the exception of there being 4 futons, instead of 2 futons and 2 couches. Still plenty of seating. The kitchen was stocked so well. Had about anything you would need. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. They provided shampoo and soap and laundry detergent. Big bonus to not have to go shopping when you get there. The balcony was beautiful and as appears in photos. However, during our stay there was a guy who had moved a desk out there in the middle of the deck with two large computers (not laptops). and appeared to be camped out for a while. Hopefully he isn't there all the time, but the setup would be hard to move around. That was the only downfall, but had nothing to do with owners of our loft. Overall, the place was comfortable, lots of space, and really cool vibe.

The location was great and easy walking to T-Mobile and other places. The loft was very clean and roomy and had everything you would need. We only stayed 1 night so we did not use much other than the beds, couches, fridge and bathrooms. Excellent communication with the host.Parking is on the street at meters or in a paid lot (all of which is stated in the description). We opted for the parking lot (10/24 hours) because there was construction and all the meters were removed and didn't want to risk being towed. The only negative thing I have is that it's not very soundproof. We could hear the neighbors very clearly. They clearly didn't abide by the "no party/quiet time after 11 rule". Along with that noise there was construction on the street right outside the windows and it was very loud. There is a school right up the street so you could also hear the children yelling and screaming walking on the sidewalk in the morning. So if you're a light sleeper it might not be your best option but I would definitely stay again.

Cousin getaway winner!

This was a Christmas present to my nephew and a cousin getaway for all of the cousins! It was amazing and provided plenty of room for everyone. This loft apartment was perfect for our tournament accommodation. The event was held at the convention center, which was about 4 blocks away, so we could walk. Parking was easy at the nearby lot. If we make it to global finals again next year, i will book this again.
