'The good: This is an excellent hotel with spectacular views, friendly staff, and a zen atmosphere. The bad: There is 1.8 KM of unpaved steep rocky road before you get to the gate and another kilometer before getting to the property. This is bad enough that we decided to give up 2 prepaid nights and leave early despite having a 2WD SUV (To their credit, hotel credit us for our incidentals, which accounted for part of the nightly rate). We were happy when we first arrived, though after 20 mins the electricity shut off, for 2,5 hours, in dark with kids, the team did respond real fast and the tech came by to fix the emergency light that didn’t work. 'Loved the pool and the fact that the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, they even went through the trouble of bringing “manzanas de agua” from the tree,clean them and served them pool side on a plate with salt on the side. Viktor hat uns freundlich empfangen und uns erzählt, dass der Kaffee, der allen zur Verfügung gestellt wird, von der Plantage seines schwiegervaters stammt.
