Herbergen in Pike

'Check in process was smooth, staff are friendly and the lobby looks inviting, but that's where the positives end with this hotel. Grass outside was mid-calf high and was the first sign that this hotel isn't maintained well. Our room was extremely outdated from the chain lock as the only locking mechanism, to the bathroom that we didn't feel comfortable showering in the discolored tub with the dirty shower head. Dried toothpaste was all down the front of the vanity, and the toilet didn't flush...

'Good spacious room and nice amenities. I’m not sure it was worth $200 a night but we had a nice stay. Good location with lots of dining options.'

'Generally a good trip. There was some wear and tear to the property and one of the elevators didn’t work. Would have given better stars, but an employee knocked on our door waking us up at 9am and then just walked in after I said please come later. He said something in our room was dripping but no faucets were on, and as we hadn’t used the shower. We got in very late the night prior and I was irritated that this employee woke us up and then just walked into our room.'

'Our room was very clean as was the lobby area also. The reason for rating of 4 we were short on towels, which was promptly resolved when I went to front desk. The other item was breakfast was kinda skimpy with selections, but was free.'
