« Not sure where to start. I’ll say that the property was clean and checkin was smooth. The apartment itself was okay. It was missing some kitchen accessories, like a toaster, but overall it was okay. The range didn’t work well and the washer and dryer required payment (and the dryer must have a broken heating element because it didn’t dry). The neighborhood is very sketchy but we didn’t get mugged so that’s good. The management contact reached out to me a couple of weeks ahead and told me we...

The bed we slept in was as nice as our deluxe one at home, the spaces were well-appointed with cozy pillows, and the floors appeared and felt spotless. We felt at ease and rested well. « I was a little dismayed as I approached by car and the route changed from suburban to one with a lumberyard and abandoned lots. But once I entered I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was spotless and looked brand new. Actually I felt safe once I was there. Nothing untoward happened. Perhaps this is a neighborhood on its way to gentrification. Just made an initial bad impression from the outside. Street parking was always plentiful. »
