'Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!'

'From the curb you might think there's no way its as big as listed. The house goes deep. Plenty of room on the main floor for entertaining with almost all bedrooms upstairs. Clean, plenty of cooking utensils and sil erware. Hosts are quick to respond. Perfect for our group.'

'John and Dianne are wonderful hosts. We ve returned for 4 years running. The cabin is simple and clean. Pet friendly which is why we return. Little things like -the mints and the Coffee / simple kitchen provisions well stocked. The little outer room lets us keep the bikes out of the weather. Close enough for a day over the bridge --and a simple drive to H. Springs or over to Petoskey. We LOVE the Petoskey Brewery and the North West Bike trail. Chances are very good we'll be back.'

'Great location, easy to get to many local destinations. There is a great pie shop a few steps down the road. Beds were comfortable and home had lots of room for groups.'

'The stay was very good. We were in the area for a softball tournament and it fit our families needs very well. The goodies on the table were a nice touch and being able to use some of the refrigerator items helped. I would recommend this house to anybody staying in the area.'

'Enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Great spot on the water. Since it has a dock, we were able to rent a pontoon from Ryde marina and keep it for multiple days. Close to everything! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and all fit fine. All the bedrooms are upstairs. The 2 queen rooms on the lake side did not have air conditioning but they had multiple fans through the house to use. The two bedrooms on the opposite side each had a window air unit. We were in the area visiting family and would definitely...
