'We stayed in one of the Excelsior suites. Highly recommended but the rest of the hotel was lovely and all spotlessly clean. It's well situated with shops, bars, restaurants and tavernas a few minutes walk away. The beach is a 5 minute walk with loads of bars (try Tranquillo - cocktails are amazing) and restaurants along the beach front. The bus stop is a few minutes walk from the hotel. All buses go into and out of Fira, which is about 25 minutes away so easy to get around the island. Taxis...

'Pros: - very clean. -owner and his wife very friendly - good swimming pool. -centrally located short walk from bus stop, bakery, bars, restaurant, beach etc - comfortable bed - good TVs and Aircon in room - good fridge in studio room Cons - bathroom quite dated, relies on small window for ventilation so it can get wet after a shower (this is normal in Greek hotels however) '

'Dora is super friendly and so are all the staff, the hotel is quite small and tucked away but perfect if you want to stay somewhere near the beach and explore the island from there. Getting to Fira was only 20 minutes and to Oia was around 40 minutes. There are bars and restaurants nearby and supermarkets, so we felt it was great. It was a little quiet however it was also off season, so that would be the only thing to note. Very clean and the service was amazing :)'

'Christo and his wife were delightful. He helped me on multiple occasions find my way around the area and even called the airport shuttle when they were late to speak to them in Greek which I could not! Room was clean and quiet. Food in the restaurant was great. Overall, a really great experience! '
