'What a wonderful stay we had at the Old Iron Inn B&B! The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. It was very comfortable! The breakfasts were Devine! The muffins delicious-Kate is definitely the muffin queen for a reason! The eggs were fresh from the farm…Really my husband hasn’t stopped talking about his omelette since we left! But the most wonderful thing about our experience at this B&B were our hosts! They were welcoming, warm and great to talk to! We totally enjoyed our stay here...

'I had a really good weekend at the hotel — the on-site bar stayed open until 1 a.m., which made for a fun night out without leaving the property. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The only hiccup was that the parking lot was under repair, so finding a spot was a bit tricky, but overall it didn’t spoil the stay.'

'This is a beautiful location on the lake - the view was amazing. It was nice for a family gathering around the fire pit. The host was very communicative before check in about the process, and throughout our stay and was friendly. There was a very distinct sulfur smell to the hot water that was very strong, but once we ran the shower for a while it lessened (with the window open). '

'The cabin is clean with all the amenities you could ever want! A short walk to the heated shower house cometw with flush toilets and laundry. Quiet, sky full of stars, close to food and plenty of places.to walk. Its our 3rd stay here and we hope to come again!'

'Everything you could need and more. Very clean and comfortable with direct access to trails. Owner was fantastic, met us at property and able to provide sledding tips for area. Will definitely stay again.'

I am a very picky person when it comes to where I stay and when I come back and I have to honestly say I definitely will be coming back. It is definitely country staying at its finest and it will bring your family closer together a beautiful place with beautiful views as well very peaceful and relaxing'

'We were in northern Maine for a friends memorial service and this house on the lake was the perfect choice for us. Check in communication and entry was easy, the house was clean and seems brand new. Wifi worked fine. The finishes and furnishings were first class, bathrooms clean and large, bedrooms/linens top notch. We had some friends over and the outdoor tables and chairs and grill were perfect for an outdoor lake day. Watch the sunset and listen to the loons from the dock. Highly recommend. '
