'Mijn bed was niet opgemaakt. De zeer verveelde medewerkster ging zuchtend op zoek naar een lakenpakket. Ze overhandigde deze aan mij en vertelde mij dat ik mijn bed nu op kon maken. Ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Jammer, want ligging is prima.'

'We took a bad start as the property was without electricity when we arrived (a problem of the whole area) but after that was solved, everything in our stay was perfect; The host gives us friendly service of breakfast and the restaurant was FABULOUS, with nice wines and excellent food. I had lobster and enjoyed every bit of it. The garden is pleasant to sit in with a good beer, they have several good beers on tap. I would stay again.'

'Right on the harbor in charming Mousehole, we had a front row seat on Cornish life--people swimming, kids jumping off the harbor wall, and walking on the SW Coastal Path. Cooked breakfast was excellent and hearty, and there were a variety of god restaurants in Mousehole and nearby Newlyn. Our room was quiet and well appointed with a spacious bathroom. The room could get warm so the fan was appreciated. One night we parked in the car park closest (about 200 meters, 5BP for 24 hours) and one night...
