'Apologies as this review comes quite late. My stay at CC was absolutely amazing. It was during a quiet time, so not many bookings. And I couldn't have asked for a better time. Quiet, met a few ppl, staff was excellent. I stayed Sept 29 - Oct 4, 2025. '

'Convenient close to the airport. 12 minute drive with our rental car. From the city it is also only a 5 minute drive. I would not recommend to walk. Breakfast was freshly made and consists out of typical Costa Rican hot dish, toast, cereals and fresh fruit. We did not eat at the restaurant in the evening. The room was convenient and clean. The bed was good. Relaxing at the end of the day you can do at the well maintained pool area. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. '

'Room with great view over the ocean (just shame that a car park with a container was in the way). Service generally good, depending on which member of staff you got. WiFi is unreliable. Restaurant food generally delicious. Room could be better insulated, I heard the family next door through the connecting door. W’a so-called “Whatever Whenever” service is not really that - I couldn’t get help for even simple things like a stamp for a postcard.'

'Our stay at Hotel Villa del Sueño was absolutely lovely. It’s a beautiful, quaint hotel with charming South American décor and a warm, romantic ambiance — definitely ideal for couples. Our room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were terrific, and many spoke English, which made everything seamless.
