'This was our third visit to The Ivy. We chose to celebrate our 10th anniversary there and we were not disappointed at all. The staff is always top notch from the moment you arrive. Mr. Calvin, Miles, Alex, Valencia, Cynthia and all others treated us like family. I heartily recommend The Ivy to any and all who will listen.'

Staff were so nice, lovely perfume spray when you walk; the decor was so adorable; the bed and room were wonderful and onsite amenities, coffee bar and rooftop bar and restaurant were superb! 'Loved the location. In walking distance and the water taxi if running is just outside the hotel. Unfortunately, when I went the first it wasn’t running, found out it was due to weather 103 degrees. Extreme heat caused a lot of things to shut down. What didn’t work out so well was on arrival when we checked in our room must have had some work being done on it. 'The hotel was recently renovated and all facilities are lovely. Expect the exterior to be the same and enjoy its perfect location near the harbor. In general the staff was attentive and welcoming. It is a very busy week, so we must be patient with those that were not. A special complement to housekeeping. Wash cloths like rosettes and tissues like fans!'

'The barn doors were dirty with a lot of finger prints. That is the only unliked observation. Love this hotel and will recommend and hope to return. Best thing was Altmens deli across street and hotel restaurant.'

'Room- When we got our key and was able to go up, we noticed that the hallways and the elevator even walking into the building. It was very clean it smelt amazing rooms was immaculate. I give it a 10 if I could. Dina was our housekeeper and I must say she has the most beautiful attitude and very good at her job. Our room was so cleaned and restocked well. 'The elevator took forever to arrive'

'Ice machine was not working on the 4th floor so when to 5th floor was not working so i went to 3rd floor it was working front desk receptionist when i came in nickol was awesome and very helpful but when i checked out younglady that check me out was ok but when i called to check and see if my money was returned to my card she was kind of rude and hung up the phone on me as if i was bothering her it sounded like the same person that check out other wise i enjoyed myself'

'Room was clean, impressed that it had a ceiling fan! Breakfast had a good variety but it was a mess and poorly stocked with no staff attending to it. One guest needed something and basically had to go search through the kitchen area to find a person to help.
