First, I’d like to say the staff was great—no complaints there at all. Everyone was kind, helpful, and welcoming.
However, the room itself was subpar. I understand this location is an older bank converted into a hotel, and while I can appreciate the nostalgia and character, it still felt very much like an old building in ways that impacted comfort.
The carpet appeared extremely dirty, and the drapes did not seem clean. There was also an unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen area, particularly when opening the dishwasher and drawers. Additionally, the beds were uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest.
On a positive note, the breakfast was great and definitely appreciated.
Unfortunately, I booked two nights through a third party but only stayed one night. The overall cleanliness and comfort of the room made it feel grimy, so I chose to check out early and move to another hotel.
I give it 2 stars, unfortunately.
