Value did not match expectations
Our experience was less than satisfactory. From the start, our check-in was delayed by an hour, which was quite inconvenient. Once we arrived, the cleaning person informed us that she required an additional hour to finish. Despite this extended cleaning time, the floors were still not clean, and we found dirt in the bathrooms. Additionally, the accommodations fell short of our expectations in terms of comfort. The apartment lacked air conditioning, and although there were about a dozen small fans, some of them were not working. The only windows were in the living room ceiling, and only one section could be opened, resulting in insufficient airflow to cool down the place. The mattress in one of the bedrooms fell to the ground due to a broken frame under the mattress. We had to fix it ourselves since calling would have been inefficient. One of the bathrooms had mold, which was very concerning. Furthermore, there were no extra toilet paper supplies, and with a family of eight, we had to go shopping for toilet paper, which is the last thing you want to do while on vacation. Communication with the host was also problematic. The booking was made through VRBO, but we had to use a third party for communication, either by calling or chatting, which then required them to relay messages to the host. This indirect method of communication was frustrating and inefficient. Overall, our stay did not match the value paid, and we were disappointed with the experience.
