Our apartment is located in the heart of the historical Saint Germain des prés- The latin quarters of Paris! For all inquiries please contact us at : paris.canettes@gmail.com

Our apartment has just been completely renovated with white walls, 18th century stone walls and 18th century beams in all the rooms.

We are on the 3rd floor with a large elegant stair case. Our apartment building has an elevator from the first floor up as well.

The apartment overlooks a large white courtyard with lots of sun coming in through the apartment all day.

Our windows are double glazed.

The bed is a comfortable Queen size bed. We also provide a fold out couch with a comfortable bed for 2 in the living room area.

The Kitchen is fully equipped.

Rue des Canettes is a historical street known for the its 17th Century buildings and charming restaurants.

We are located near all the lovely farmers markets, Theaters and romantic french cafes, bars and restaurants. We are just down the street from the world famous Cafe De Flore- a favorite of many great writers and artists (Hemingway, F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, Picasso, Serge Gainsbourg and more...), The Brasserie Lipp, Entrecôte and Les Deux Magots.

Our apartment is within walking distance of all the great historical monuments and museums of Paris.

The closet Metro stops are Saint Germain des Prés, Odéon and Mabillon.

We have all local markets, stores and patisseries near by.

We offer all information regarding tours, sight seeing and events here in Paris.

Great stay!

We (my son and I) really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. Although the owners did not welcome us in person, they send a big email with all the necessary information, and the rest was pretty much self-explanatory. The apartment is situated in the middle of the St-German student 'quartier', with cosy small streets and lots of restaurants. We could park the car relatively cheaply in the nearby St-German parking garage. Groceries and shopping could be done at walking distance (TIP: take the Carrefour in Rue des Seine instead of the really expensive M&S shop). Paris nowadays is a really traffic-low city, in which the car has ceded its dominant place to buses, taxis, bikes and the electric steps of Tier, Dott and other suppliers, which allow you to travel easily among the inner city without the hassle of the subway. Boulevard St-Germain itself is a bustling shopping and café street, and lots of interesting things are within walking distance. So I really can recommend this apartment and this neighborhood!

The location is exceptional - 5-20 minutes of leisurely walking to just about everything. My thoughts on the actual residence: first, as promoted, there is a lift - however, it starts on the First Floor (what Americans would call the second floor). So, getting to the lift with heavy suitcases (or if you have trouble with stairs, like my wife) means you have to negotiate 20 steps of a circular staircase before getting from the ground floor to the first floor (and the lift). I can’t comment on the owners providing any information or directions on the operation of the property because they said they were not available to meet us. They emailed me the two security codes and told us where to find the keys. The apartment is REALLY a studio - it's NOT a two bedroom. To separate the one sleeping area from the living area there's a multi-pane glass partition. It has roll-down blinds except the blinds only cover 3/4 of the glass partition. In short, they’re pretty useless. The bed is a full - not a queen. The living area has a hide-a-bed couch (badly stained) but that doesn't make it a bedroom. The toilet room has permanently open vents to the outside, which meant in winter the toilet was FREEZING! The window drapes don't cover the windows, so privacy is lacking. Overall, it's not "luxurious" (as claimed) but its is funky, comfy, great location and it worked well for the price.

The apartment is perfectly located in Saint Germaine. The area around the apartment has great restaurants and bars just outside the door but the apartment still remains quiet. The elevator is also great for dealing with luggage.

Our host let us check in early which we very much appreciated. However, the apartment was not luxurious, as listed. It was freezing upon our arrival and took 2 days before it was comfortable. The curtains, sofa and bed linens were all dingy. The pillows were not comfortable. The towels seemed cheap and there was one hand towel and 3 bath towels for 7 nights for 2 people. There was NO hand soap nor body soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Everywhere I’ve ever rented has always provided those basic amenities. We had to go buy soaps immediately. The worst part was the bed. There was a terrible squeaking noise on my husband’s side that made sleeping almost impossible for us. We were so tired the first night, that we managed to sleep but the second night he moved to the couch and the third night we started sleeping on the hard foldout together. I communicated this to our host and requested a refund for our last 2 nights because we were not sleeping well and it was affecting our trip overall. We started looking for hotels which of course, would be an unexpected big expense. She did offer to come by and check it out, but did not do so even after I confirmed that she could. She also called it a “slight” squeak which it was not! It was awful. She would not agree to a refund request for the last two nights. We were very disappointed that she didn’t seem very concerned about our desire to move to a hotel. That’s a big deal when you’ve paid and planned a budget for a special trip.

Charming apartment in the perfect location. . .

The location is perfect for walking the city and the Luxembourg Gardens. Cafes and shops line the city streets around this area. I have been to Paris at least 10 times. This is the cutest spot in the 6th.

This apartment is in the perfect location! Shops, restaurants, metro stations all very close by! The apartment was fine. Would be perfect for 2 people. A bit crowded with two adults and two 18 year olds sharing one shower. The shower could use a good cleaning. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice but overpriced accommodation

The location of the appartment is good, walking distance to the main atractions. When we arrived the sofa bed was not prepared as we requested in the reservation, we prepared for our family member. The appartment was not cleaned properly, a lot of dust all over the place. They provide towels but not clean as it should be. Other amenities were fine. Appartment is very hot as the temperature raised, there is a fan but AC is needed. We sleeped with open window, wich means a lot of noice from the cafe bars down the street and a lot of moshitos. Overal, the appatrment need some improvements to be in line with the price.

Tiffany and Charles were great to work with and responded quickly to all messages. The location of the apartment is great- right in the middle of St. Germain while still private and quiet. Unfortunately, the apartment was dirty to the point of impacting our stay negatively. Hopefully this issue is resolved for future travelers.

Amazing neighborhood

Fulfills all your needs - Epic grocery store around the corner, restaurants everywhere, 2 gorgeous churches within 2 minute walk. Fabulous stores on Blvd St. Germain, Rue de Rennes & Rue de Sevres. Then relax in Jardin de Luxembourg. Easy walk to Latin Quarter & Notre Dame. We had a wonderful time, loved the apartment & can’t wait to return.

Location, location, location!

My wife and I had an amazing week and a half at this this property and loved the apartment and the location. Tiffany and Charles are lovely people and were quick to respond when we inadvertently locked ourselves out of the apartment (ugh). I cannot say enough good things about this location, you simply would have a hard time finding a better location in Paris, in my opinion; it is within walking distance of everything with love on the left bank and the latin district, has several nearby metro's as well as a taxi stand, and more excellent restaurants and bars within a block than you could visit on a single trip. Lovely time, lovely place, would highly recommend!

Wonderful visit!

3 generational girls' trip to Paris! We had a bit of a struggle figuring out how to open the door to the apartment but were able to reach Tiffany by text and she responded promptly. The apartment was exactly as described and was clean, comfortable and charming and also quiet, especially considering the several restaurants below. We loved the location as we were able to walk just about everywhere we desired. City Pharma (which is amazing) and a beautiful market shop were just around the corner along with many other nice shops. Several guide books were available along with restaurant recommendations. It was everything we’d hoped for! Thank you!

Cozy apartment in St Germaine

We had a lovely stay in this cozy apartment. The bed was very comfy with lovely linens and a well stocked kitchen. It's a perfect quiet location in St Germaine with lots of amneties near by. Tiffany and Charles were fantastic and answered emails right away for our questions.

My Month in Paris

I stayed at this beautiful apartment for 30 days. The property is located on a charming street that looks like it belongs in a movie. I was able to walk everywhere and had the convenience of supermarkets, stores and restaurants steps away. The apartment was as depicted on the photos….very nice, with everything I needed. Tiffany was lovely to interact with and promptly answered any questions. She is kind and an absolute delight.

This is not a two bedroom apartment and don't know how they get away with that claim. Pathetic towels, dishwasher handle broken so unusable. Shower floods with each use and black mold circles it. On entering apartment a stack of unsightly cleaning supplies greet you with smelly mop, vacuum, buckets piled high with no door. Pass on this people

WOW - Perfect in every way

Indeed luxurious and clean. Great location in the San Germain des Pres area. We walked everywhere. Comfortable bed. Good kitchen facilities for those meals at the apt. Contact always reachable if needed. I'd choose it again.

Avevamo bisogno di un appartamento vicino a tutto in modo da poter girare il più possibile a piedi/passeggino. Due adulti e due bimbi (di due e 8 anni) La zona è comodissima a tutto, supermercati e metro a pochi passi. L'appartamento ben curato e con tutto il necessario. Non è grandissimo, ma per noi che lo lasciavamo subito dopo colazione e rientravamo dopo una giornata in giro era perfetto.Tiffany sempre presente per ogni richiesta ed imprevisto.

Perfect Parisian Apartment

We had a wonderful two weeks in Paris in late February/early March. The apartment was exactly as presented in the listing and was perfect for our needs during our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed coffee from the Nespresso machine so much that we bought one when we got home. The bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet even though it is in the middle of the city. It was close to everything with several Metro stations nearby and numerous excellent restaurants within a few blocks. We look forward to coming back on our next trip to Paris. Merci Beaucoup to Charles and Tiffany for such a wonderful place.
