Our party had a flight to catch at 6:10am so we tried to leave the hotel at 4:00 am. There was no front reception staff and both of the sliding doors were locked. We waited a few minutes, rang the bell several times, and looked for a staff member. This did not work. Our Uber showed up and we could not find a way to leave. One of our members had to go behind the reception deskd and figure out how to unlock the doors. It turns out it was a sequence on a key pad. Our uber driver had to stand in between one of the sliding doors because if one opened, the other would close and not reopen. We eventually made our way out due to trial and error. I wonder, what if we had an emergency and had to leave sooner? Or there was a fire in the building? It was an adventure, but they need to ensure exits are available at all times.
