Top marks go to Melina and Mohamed for always being helpful and with a big smile. The hotel is very modern as it has been recently refurbished and it looks and feels really great.
We had the superior room and the bed was very comfortable, although the rooms are a little small, and the king bed made the room a bit tight to move. The decor is modern, relaxing and comfortable. Having a coffee machine in the room is a nice touch too.
The location is excellent, it's less than 5 minutes walk to tbe nearest metro which quickly takes you to the centre of Paris and the main tourist areas. The local area is also good with local bakeries and a lidl.
Check in is strictly at 3pm and if you want to check in before you have to pay, i believe it is €30, or you can leave your bags for €5 and check in later.
I would have given 5 stars but the only complaint apart from the slightly small room, was the procedure to get the room cleaned. You have to request at reception for your room to be cleaned. As we stayed for 5 nights we wanted the room cleaned. The first time it was cleaned. But following this, our 3 requests were not obliged, and so our room was not cleaned for a few days. It was not the fault of the reception staff as they had noted it on the IT system etc but the procedure seemed to have failed. We were offered free breakfast on our last morning as an apology which we appreciated.
Overall, apart from the cleaning issues, a great place to stay, and some lovely staff.
