Blokhutten in Otago Peninsula

'The stay in the stables is poor, even for a low-budget version of the castle. The rooms are very noisy, not only noises from the guests next door (even if they do it quietly) but also from the noisy staff who start preparing breakfast at just after 6:00 am. Lots of loud talking and the radio on. The breakfast itself is good, but the breakfast location (the stable) is cold, (coincidentally?) the heating is partly defective, especially when the stable doors open on both sides because guests also...

'We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderfully quirky haven. The bath at night with candles is a must do. Soaking amidst the plants is so relaxing before bed. We loved the visits from the two house cats Bacon and Purrgeot So lovely to have nice sourdough bread, fresh eggs and everything needed for a lovely breakfast. Recommend this place and would love to come back again thanks Chris for such a special little place'

'Gorgeous wee unit !! Accomodating and easy to communicate host . Gorgeous wee touches to the unit. Hope I can stay again for non work visit'

'The room was clean and had all the amenities as advertised. It was comfortable enough and we appreciated the great views of the bay. Per Expedia booking, expected to receive email from the host, but never did (correct email verified in the booking). Had to search through our Expedia booking to get check-in instructions. The signs on the stairs leading to the studio were confusing - the sign points to the upper unit and the property address was posted at the top of the stairs, leading one to...

'Fabulous place in the trees. It was lovely being able to light the fire and feel warm and cosy. The host was fantastic at letting us know how to find the bach.Would definitely stay again when visiting Dunedin'

'This is a fantastic location just a short distance from town. The hosts were awesome! The bed was very comfortable. The large room with adjacent deck is well appointed. The house is across the street from the ocean and a pebbly beach. Loved the view! We highly recommend ordering their dinner which they bring to your room. It was extremely good! We HIGHLY recommend a stay at ‘A View with a Room’!'

'Mooie kamer , vriendelijk personeel op goede locatie. '

'Comfortable big bed. Lovely spa bath, easy parking, close to restaurants etc. great value for money'

'Prima adres, dichtbij het strand en de stad. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Lekker stil 's nachts. Voor herhaling vatbaar. '

'Vriendelijk ontvangst en het hotel is mooi en goed gelegen. Zeer schone kamer en uitstekende bedden. Keuken assortiment is als nieuw. Zeer mooi en uitstekend hotel! '

'Hotel is gedateerd en zeer vies. Bij binnenkomst in de kamer treffen we nagels van iemand anders aan. Daarnaast zijn er vele haren aanwezig. Kortom vies en slecht onderhouden. Toen we de receptionist dit aangaven deed hij hier lacherig over en wenste ons een fijne dag. Kortom eenmalig en geen aanrader om naartoe te gaan.'

'Swanky!! Amazing 1 night stay, wish we could be there longer.'

'Big rooms'

'Mooie nette kamer met voorzieningen, op loopafstand van centrum.'

'Clean room and the kitchen facilities'
