« There’s places for swimming, fishing ,kayaking and a boat launch for small watercraft with trailer. The pond is huge and the surrounding areas are beautiful to kayak, boat or sail on! There is a good size deck to sit on over the water. So quiet and peaceful.Inside there is a large screened in porch great to sit on and take in the water views. « A lovely stay by a lovely lake, great spot for a casual family get-together. Upstairs is a well furnished air condtioned large studio with a comfortable bed. Best cookware i have ever seen in a rental, practically brand new. Appliances worked great. Well stocked with quality towels, tp, etc. Downstairs is a more rustic area with several beds, no ac, and a half bath..the kids that stayed there loved it. « This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). « The place was perfect for a week in the Adirondacks with the family. Kayaks, well stocked updated kitchen, plenty of room to sleep 6, and two levels of deck. Great interface with the outdoors but the WiFi worked great to occupy kids during down time. Most of all, the owner John was super accommodating. One of the air conditioners in a bedroom stopped working and a new one was installed in about 2 hours! Five stars not enough. »
