« Fantastic place to stay! »

« The staff at the Columbus Inn were really friendly and helpful. While the room met our needs, it appeared to be in need of some repairs. The toilet paper rack was coming loose from the wall. The hairdryer wouldn't turn on and was in need of cleaning. The TV and A/C worked fine, so we were thankful for those things. Overall, an adequate room with convenient entrance/exits to the parking lot. People were friendly, but our room needed some attention. »

« At check in the property did not have the room type we reserved. So we agreed to a room with fewer amenities and negotiated a lower price. The room was not clean. We had a fireball shooter and candy wrappers on the floor. Stains on the bedding. The smoke detector was taken apart and covered with a plastic bag. And the curtain pulls were broke. The breakfast was two kinds of cold cereal, about 5 bite size muffins and some hard boiled eggs in the fridge. But after seeing how poorly it was...

« Nice and clean room, little dated »

« Since it’s the only hotel in Glenwood Iowa, it’s pretty nice. They take very good care of it. It’s very clean. The rooms are pretty spacious and it was near a lot of restaurants. I would stay here again if I’m in town for a wedding. »
