'It was beautiful, an incredible property. I was lucky enough to stay in the presidential suite which was a dream. I was in the king room which was amazing but slightly louder being on the top floor as the roof acts like now of an echo chamber so you can hear the dogs bark at night. If you are not sensitive to noise then this won’t bother you! For me, it was too much. The food cooked by Carlos was wonderful. Abi, thank you, you have done a great job. '

Pero una vez dentro del Hotel todo es tranquilo y confortable. Solo estuvimos una noche para descansar y conocer las ruinas cercanas e irnos a Ollantaytambo. 'Nice place run by a kind and helpful couple. Close to the centre of town, but quiet. It’s not possible to drive up to the hotel by car, but it’s just a short walk. Nice view of ruins and mountains from the window. '

'A family hostel at a 10 min walk from the center. Nice clean room with a view on the garden and mountains. Owner doesn speak any english so that was a pity. If he arranges a taxi you pay 3x the price. Also the room we booked was al of a sudden more expensive but after some discussion we got the room that was promised. But we could leave our luggage for a night while going to Aguas Calientes and we had a good time in Ollantaytambo. '

'It was very close not even 5 minutes from the train station. The directions are very misleading. There is a front desk there is no need to call before you get there. It is true the May if you are arriving late in the afternoon you need to call because there won’t be anyone there but we got there at around 10 and there was plenty of service available. 'Hotel had no idea who I was when I showed up. I got lucky that someone canceled their reservation and I was able to get a room. The room was questionable (broken window, cold shower) but I was just there to sleep, so I just put a chair in front of the door that wouldn’t lock and went to bed.
