Châteaux à Norwich

« Le lieu est absolument magnifique, la propriété, le parc, les arbres. En revanche les lieux de restauration ont clairement besoin d'un manager. Malgré le nombre conséquent de personnel, le petit déjeuner n'était pas régulièrement fourni. Les employés sont cachés à droite à gauche, occupés à plier des serviettes en discutant ou en consommant des bouteilles cachées dans les placards... Un soir nous avons attendu 1h notre commande de repas alors que nous étions avec 2 enfants. C'est vraiment...

« Breakfast was a late start but staff were happy to provide a traveller coffee and sandwich to send me on my way. Food good and good staff. I would stay again »

« L’ascenseur était en panne tout au long de notre séjour, 2 étages à monter et à descendre avec les valises était une épreuve avec les enfants. Une pensée pour les femmes de chambre. »

« I cannot leave more than 2 stars because there is no on-site coin laundry machine, and none in walking distance. Staff was excellent; my room didn't have a mini-fridge, but they were willing to let me put food into their private one in staff break room. « What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. Breakfast was lovely, huge croissants. Honestly can’t fault anything. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again, I want to try one of the other rooms as they’re all...

« Excellent room with separate sitting area and tea/coffee/milk/ cereal and juice. Looked out onto garden area. Extremely comfortable. Parking spot. Highly recommended. Very helpful host. »

« Charming hotel but there was no heating in the bathroom which was very cold (10 C). You can feel the freezing cold through the windows and walls. »

« Evening meal a bit like faulty towers; eg, waiter knocked drink over & expected us to pay for replacement, (no, we didn’t). Large, dark stains on all carpets. Breakfast was a fiasco; had to request many essentials, eg teaspoon, tea pot, milk, tea bags, etc. The bar ran out of beer/lager every night. I could go on, but not enough space or time. Essentially I believe many faults were down to staff shortages. »
