'Prijs kwaliteit zeker niet in verhouding. Kamer erg klein, klein bed, zodat je niet eens langs elkaar kunt lopen. Dode vliegen in de vensterbank. Zeer slecht en beperkt ontbijt. Kies zeker niet voor continental, want dat betekent dat je alleen cerials en yoghurt met wat fruit hebt. sap uit pak of fles. Over het geheel viel dit erg tegen. Als je in een oud kasteel zit, kun je verwachten dat het niet al te lux is, maar je mag op zijn minst voor deze prijs wat ruimte verwachten en een goed ontbijt....

'What an absolutely fabulous place. Adrienne and her wonderful hardworking team could not do enough for our party of 18. From the entire booking process/communication with Adrienne that involved extensive dietary requirements, plus the organisation of activities including clay pigeon shooting, archery and air rifling, professional whisky tasting, arranging a piper and having an official Robbie Burns address to the haggis superbly undertaken by Barney. 'If you are thinking about staying at The Hunting Tower to enjoy the area, view and to visit Chatsworth House with unlimited access then this is for you. We absolutely loved our stay, such a unique building and well taken care of, considering it's age, it was all extremely comfortable. 'We hired this venue to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary with friends and family. The castle is amazing, plenty of space to spread out and great facilities. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the local caretaker couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. The food hamper was a lovely touch and we all had an amazing stay.'

'My family and I stayed here over Christmas for a couple of nights and we’re quite surprised with our stay, the house itself is lovely and the space was great for all the family to be together with our own rooms and the dogs loved it too, however I am disappointed to say the cleanliness of the manor was rather unsatisfactory. 'After flight delays we made it to Church Tower! Emily was amazing, meeting us and showing us the church tower. So beautiful and comfortable, as described. A few concerns arose and there was a bit of confusion about who the point of contact was. It all got worked out and the much anticipated delicious welcome basket did arrive; and we were able to take our goodies with us to Inverness. 'This is a wonderfully unique holiday property. Quirky and so much fun, the pool and hot tub on the roof were fantastic, kids loved it, beautiful countryside all around and stunning views from the property.
