« I have been stressed due to a lot of personal loss and my daily life was not helping, but with this property there was no stress, just sitting on the patio feeling the wind blow, and sitting in the hot tub as you listen to the rustle of the leaves. « Mentone is the absolute perfect spot for a 4 day stay - great hikes and waterfalls, even in the summer. Cute shops and within easy distance to bigger groceries. Our family really enjoyed this stay because the house is great. « Nice little cabin for relaxing. Internet and TV worked fine for our stay. The fireplace was a really nice feature. The area is very remote so if you want to eat out you'll need to drive a bit through the mountains. Very pretty sunsets can be seen from the big windows at the back of the cabin. »

« We had a wonderful time at the Whiskey Lake Cabin. It was clean & easy check in & out. The decor was simply amazing & what you'd expect for a cabin on a lake. The beds well let's just say... they're to die for. I'd like to know what kind of mattress is in the master bedroom. I don't believe I've ever slept on a better mattress ever & i'm a picky person when it comes to beds. We saw deer both day's right off the porch. I would give this a 5 star review all the way across the board hands down. So...

« Excellent. As a person who lives in a 520 sq ft cabin, just a hint concerning the Murphy bed. You may want to consider a full size bed rather than the queen murphy. The only irritation was the bedroom door will not open nor shut without picking up the bed. This was an irritant to me because I like quiet and dark when I sleep. The door issue makes privacy in the bedroom a problem. »
