He left toys for my children to play with whilst we were staying. The amenities in the room were better than expected, with an internal laundry, fridge, microwave and more. It is a good place to meet people during the evening as people are coming back preparing food or ordering at the restaurant. 'Not many hostels in Hervey Bay but if you’re looking for an eco-friendly option this is the place. The girl at reception was nice, helped me out with some things and just good chat. Rooms are clean although a bit worn down. But then again it has pretty affordable pricing. Enough amenities to get your solo travel sorted out and nearby the beach.'
