'Can't recommend this highly enough. What a fantastic experience. The staff work so hard and were so welcoming. To see Giraffes, Rhinos, Ostriches, Impalas...etc right outside our accom was so special. The only negative I could find was that there wasn't enough time from check-in to get settled and take it all in before the sundown tour. We all agreed that 2 nights would be perfect to fully experience it all and get some downtime to enjoy and watch the animals with a drink from our balcony. ...

'This property was clean, walking distance to beach & pier, cafes & restaurants. Great spot. Hot water shower tap needed a lot of turns to start. That’s the only negative and it’s a tiny negative. Toaster, coffee machine, kettle, microwave & fridge covered everything really. Room was a good size too. Definitely be back.'

'This is a magical place nestled near the entrance to the Daintree Forest. My family hiked the nicely maintained and well-documented trails next to the Mossman river, swam in it, also enjoyed the pool that the hotel maintains. 'Not many hostels in Hervey Bay but if you’re looking for an eco-friendly option this is the place. The girl at reception was nice, helped me out with some things and just good chat. Rooms are clean although a bit worn down. But then again it has pretty affordable pricing. Enough amenities to get your solo travel sorted out and nearby the beach.'
