'We enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay at Mt Cotton Retreat. Sue was a pleasure to deal with and kind enough to offer us a complimentary upgrade to a superior room in the Boutique Hotel. The forest surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed the indoor/outdoor areas where we could chill out and/or eat our meals. A comfortable bed, large bathroom and mid cons in our room made for a great stay. Thank you!'

'Unique it certainly was ! Booked primarily for the Butterflies & meals only to discover 24 hrs before there are no buttetflies and was informed of reduced food availability when we arrived. Room was spacious and mostly clean- plates were 'joined' underneath by left over butter ! Milk etc in the fridge was welcome (although a tad out of date!) Sleep -well that would have been nice - early internal partying was ok but music played ALL night and the last conversation ended around 4a.m.After a bit...

'Enjoyed that I could come and go without any need to interact with anyone. Sort of like having my own personal home/mansion. Beautiful location and grounds. If I had time for a longer stay, I would have had more time to enjoy the building and its grounds. Checkout was a simple as leaving the key and locking the front door. Hope to be back again one day!! 'This place is seriously beautiful, stylish yet relaxed. So clean, and the staff were just amazing & helpful. Well worth the stay. Note, the entire hotel & property is smoke free, that includes out doors on your patio. And there is no onsite parking.'

'Friendly staff who were helpful throughout; from booking in, during our stay and checking out. Beautiful room which suited our needs and provided stunning views. The only negative would be the wifi connection struggled at times.'

'Well... the room is really outdated. Everything is there like a towel, bed, ac, but it could use an update. Like some tiles are broken, walls not so neat, really cheap curtains. It is doable for 1 or 2 nights, but if you are used to a little bit of comfort, I would not recommend it.'
