« Okuhida Hot Spring Hirayukan is conveniently located, just a short and easy walk from the Hirayu Onsen bus terminal. A small shop beside the ryokan sells snacks and drinks, which is useful especially in the quieter evenings. Check in was smooth and the ryokan already had our Expedia reservations. « The hotel is a brand new hotel. All the facilities are new! The room is spacious and clean. The reception staff can speak good English and handle my enquires. I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. To my surprise, they promised to arrange every day room cleaning when I requested. I love the public thermal hot spring, we can see the stunning Takayama city view from there especially in daytime. »
