'we were looking for just a couple nights close to Sleeping Bear area to hike and bike and this location was perfect. We had a room on the upper level getting a cooler up the stairs was a challenge but not a deal breaker for sure, and BTW we are active seniors so that might not be any problem for younger people. We used the grill and had a meal outside on the deck, walked down the the beach one morning for coffee and in the evening to swim and used the kyacks. The firepit looks awesome but it...

'I was worry when I checked the property. And when I arrived on property I was very happy and satisfied. Its so cozy and renovated. Mattress was the one of the best mattresses. Clean rooms, parking is okay, if you drive straight truck you can find a spot. So I recommend 100%'

'I was very impressed with this motel! The noise in the rooms is minimal despite being on a busy road. The rooms not only looked clean, but it SMELLED clean!! That's something even new hotels/motels struggle with, especially with AC units, but this place was great!!! The beds were comfortable and I appreciated both the amount of pillows, and the variety of firmness! The staff were all helpful and really friendly too! The kaftans were so. Cute. 'This family run inn was so clean and comfortable. The rooms are really big, with small frig, microwave and small coffee maker. However they offer complimentary coffee in the office in the mornings. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again!'
