'Very dated motel. Stayed here for the nostalgia, as I grew up going to HoJo's around the US. Check in was ok, but no one there to check out. Stairs to the room were rusty with peeling paint. Crumbling sidewalks. Felt unsafe. Shower curtain had that foul, sour smell--needs to be soaked in bleach or disinfectant. A real turn off. Beds seemed clean and we're comfy. Breakfast was surprisingly good--hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereal, breakfast bars, muffins, juices, coffee, and best of all,...

'They have exactly what you would expect at a motel, and just on point. Nothing more, nothing less. Just perfect, clean, easy. Tbh set my standards up for any motel in the US.'

'This is my new favorite place- right down from Ellen's Shell station that has the best pizza in town. :). I felt safe who was clean they use Dove products, so grateful for your skin, the environment and women's initiatives. Just an all-around wonderful place that deserves the five stars. Breakfast was namebrand muffins, coffee, but no fresh fruit. Only recommendation I'd make to the staff, it would be lovely if you put out a few apples or oranges at breakfast. 'Perfect for families! The puttputt and playground were large and fun and there were comfortable picnic tables for eating outside, enjoying the weather and the stunning view. The rooms were VERY large! We had a double queen and while you could tell the hotel is undergoing renovations, it was nice, quiet and comfortable. The updates that were going on lead me to believe that as nice as it is right now, next year will be even better.'
