'Very good location right in front of Ruifang train station. Perfect to use as a base to explore Jiufen, Pingxi and the surrounding area. A lot of hiking opportunities at your fingertips. 'Nice, new guesthouse, very close to the railway station and night market. Friendly host, nice breakfast. We had the room on top of the stairs, with a low ceiling. We could not stand up straight under the shower, which was a little uncomfortable. The bathroom ceiling is even lower than the one in the (windowless) room: we are Dutch ladies, 1.75 cm, and are sure our partners of 1,85 could not have stood up straight in the bathroom! We message to advise we would be arriving before the check in time and if we could leave our luggage whist the room was being prepared and we were invited to come when ready. 'This property is in an amazing location, nestled in a peaceful corner with an ocean view. Yet, it is conveniently situated a few steps away from Jiufen old street. The hosts were welcoming and hospitable, offering a delicious Taiwanese-style breakfast. The room itself is clean, although the bathroom showed signs of age and use. I would definitely stay here again because of the hosts’ kindness and the property’s location. '
