'Stayed here for one night after hiking Rainbow Falls and Turtleback Falls trail. Great location close to Cashiers where we saw 4th of July fireworks. Room was comfy and clean! Excellent air conditioning! They cooked made to order eggs and bacon and had assorted muffins, bagels, breads, and fruit. Chatted with the owner Julie at breakfast-super friendly! Don’t hesitate to stay here!'

'Not handicapped friendly. Only the Office, Restaurant, and Woodward House have Handicapped ramps. All other facilities seem to have stairs. This place must have been awesome 100 years ago. Currently, it is overgrown. There is poison ivy in most of the flower beds. Dead trees are draped with English Ivy that remains unkempt. Polk berry plants and other weeds are common. 'An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.'
