'Enjoyed this very old Lodge and all of the character. Our bed was comfortable, just be aware that if you are in a room on the busy highway side - it is very noisy in the morning. The restaurant was wonderful and everyone was super friendly. If in this area we would not hesitate to stay again.'

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...
