'We stayed in a few hotels during our stay in Tokyo and Kyoto and this one was our favourite. Super modern with fantastic service and facilities. Spacious room with all the mod cons, beautiful amenities, treats, big bath & shower etc. Lemon cake and welcome drink on arrival. Fruit juices, water, soda water in fridge replenished each day. Drip coffee was cool - even loved the kettle! Big comfy bed, lounge area. Two choices of slippers - usual white ones and some japanese. Even had a dyson...

'Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Highly recommended and I will stay here again next time!'

'Our kids and us love staying here. The staff was super easy to communicate with. All the check-in and checkout instructions were super detailed. We had a little miscommunication on checkout about where the key cards were and the online staff did they due diligence to make sure the keys were where I said I put them. 'Quite a unique experience with traditional Japanese furniture and room layout. The owner clearly put a lot of thoughts in building out this hotel by integrating modern appliances into traditional Japanese house architecture. Beautifully decorated garden. Staff were super helpful.'
