'Truly a cottage feel, great common area with fireplace, river view from deck outside was awesome. Several areas to choose from to relax in and out of cottage. Walking distance to lake, river, and trails. Great experience, will be going back for sure!'

'This was the perfect place for us for our family Christmas away. We have never been to the mountains OR in snow, but we looked a lot and found this wonderful place. The home was the perfect location for us (near everything, but far enough away for us to have fires in the fire pit at night by the creek). 'Very peaceful!'

'This is the perfect little cottage. We didn't really have any expectations, but my grandson loved playing outdoors in the stream and on the property. It is close to town and the grocery store. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. I loved looking at the lightning bugs at night and the beautiful sky. The inside was very clean and exactly what we were looking for.'

'There was hair in the shower and sink. The shower liners looked dirty and much to long and hanging in the dirty water. Trash was left in the downstairs. There was no toilet paper, trash can liners, or soap for the shower. Multiple obvious mouse traps left the feeling there was a mouse problem that we may encounter- which we did not. '

'We had been desperate for a vacation for the last couple of years. Every time we make reservations and invite family something tragic happens. I was on VRBO daydreaming about a get away. And there are a lot of nice homes with all the amenities of home, some to include hot tubs and pools. None of them said " Come weary soul, be at peace". The breeze over the river never stopped. Morning coffee on the porch was the best time of the day. Listening to the birds sing a song to the melody of the river...

'Not easy to find, get to. Beautiful place and view; hot tub was wonderful, beds very comfortable, the weather was lovely. The kitchen was clean, well equipped, and cozy. We enjoyed our time together in the cottage. The property could benefit from handrail on lower steps from driveway to upper deck and front door, garlic powder in spice rack, fire extinguisher in a more prominent location in case of fire emergencies.'

'We enjoyed this place so much! The listing was 100% accurate. The place was very clean. An older property but has been renovated with several modern conveniences. My husband & I with our 3 children were comfortable the whole time. The community is very quiet & felt very safe! Beautiful area & great place for the kids to play! Would love to stay here again!'

'The cabin is great and just as described and written about in previous reviews. Was closing to giving it 4 star review as it is odd for having a queen bed in the main bedroom (when the rest of the house was build for very tall people) and no shower downstairs for the two other rooms, but overall enough to keep at 5 stars. Just be aware of both before renting, but worth the stay. Will come back for sure though.'
