'Staff was super helpful, we had booked a cabin and didn't realize there was only 1 bed in the one we booked. The staff cleaned the soonest available 2 bed, and had us in it no extra charge in about an hour. Super friendly great stay.'

'I would definitely stay here again and hopefully longer than one night so we could enjoy it more. Everything is so well thought out and homey. It was very quiet too. My only recommendation is to add some extra blankets. The heater worked well, but one of us was too hot and the other too cold, so an extra blanket would have saved an argument!'

'The balcony in units 10,11,12 ready to fall off. Bugs in the bath tub and also would not drain. Plug in your coffee pot in the bathroom.only 1 night stand,no plugs. The view from the balcony was very nice but the mosquitoes will eat you alive.'

'I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.'
