'A wonderful location right on the Dee Estuary. Although there’s no flowing water we sat on the terrace and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening sun and watched the world and wildlife go by. Our evening meal was great as was breakfast. A lovely big room, very clean and comfortable. All in all a great stay. '

'Meerdere keren in dit hotel verbleven , goed eten, echter minstens 6 haren in bed, maar 1 stel handdoeken , en geen vloermat. Na doorgeven kregen we een andere kamer. Die bleek niet schoongemaakt. Volgende kamer, was schoon en goed. Kan gebeuren, maar het personeel geeft je het gevoe alsof het je eigen schuld is. Dat kan niet. Volgende ochtend weer een chagrijnige dame bij het ontbijt. Luisterde nkeg, en geeft je geen welkom gevoel. Uiteindelijk bij de manager aangegeven , hij zei tussen neus en...

'The Oaklands is a nice hotel with a great bar and beer garden. It is relatively close to the centre, you can walk. The room is nothing special but everything works. Easy to park.'
