'An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. Dave will have them ready...

'We had a great stay here. The best part was definitely the location, the beach is incredibly close and easy to access, which made it perfect for a relaxing weekend. The space itself is unique and worked well for our short stay. Communication was smooth and check-in was straightforward. Overall, we enjoyed our time and appreciated the opportunity to stay.'

'The cabins were wonderful.I came into town for first aid training and stayed two nights. The owners responded very quickly, gave me all the information that was needed and the pictures reflected the cabin very well. I wish I had more time.\nTo feed the animals as there was food in the cabin for them. I found the bed very comfortable and the bath tub fit me well , i'm 6'2". The hot tub was great, but I was only utilize it one night because I was studying, thank you'

'We hebben hier 1 nacht overnacht en hadden een 2-persoonskamer met 2 x een 2-persoonsbed. De kamer was erg ruim. Het had een mooie locatie. En het personeel was erg vriendelijk. '

'The house has a good amount of space and was great for us two families. There are a few things that are tired in the house or need repairs. The kitchen is big and easy to use for two families, however; it could use more supplies like a cheese grater, extra garbage bags, broom and some spices. The ocean view is small and far so dont get too excited, but just down the road is a little beach you can walk on. The beds are very comfortable and the house is quiet. I would stay here again.'

'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening.
