« We decided to stay here based off of the incredible reviews, and I can honestly say, they did not disappoint! The rooms are clean and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable - even for those with chronic bad backs. The staff was always friendly and VERY helpful. The grounds are clean, and the parking is easy. The resort is very well lit and easy to find, and it's the soo, so everything is within an easy distance. VERY well priced. They were very accommodating for our late...

« We not informed at check-in that there was no hot water; we discovered it for ourselves when we tried taking a shower that evening. The next morning the office was filled with people complaining about the situation and the lack of inormation -- according to some guests the hot water had been off for over 24 hours (management denied this). With no guarantee that the situation would be fixed soon, we were refunded our second night's stay and headed elsewhere. At the very least, we should have been...

« Definitely a no frills stay. We had a non smoking room with a queen bed. For two people it was cramped and close to the street. Not much for amenities. The “snack” room did have free coffee and tea. The vending machine had a few bags of microwave popcorn. I do recall they used to have a continental breakfast. If you are on a strict budget this will work. For more comfort and amenities check out the places on the I-75 business loop. You get what you pay for. »

« Darlene, the property host, was very responsive to our requests and questions. The location is outstanding. We were thrilled to observe freighters going by, but we also spent a lot of time bird watching. Two magnificent bald eagles ate their dinner along the shore across from the cottage. A family of sandhill cranes also walked along the shore, two adults and two colts. Dozens of other species were also present. We rented a pontoon boat, which, ironically, was located two doors down from the...

« We asked the host if there was any smells in the cabin when we booked our stay because my wife has a number of health issues that strong synthetic smells can make worse. Such as scented laundry soap and cleaning supplies. We were assured by the host that there was no smell and she asked the cleaning crew to not use any cleaning supplies with and odor. When we arrived at the cabin we walked in to an overwhelming smell of laundry soap with sent so much that my wife was only able to be in the cabin...
