'This was our second time staying at the Omni King Edward. Overall it’s a pleasant stay, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. When we arrived in the room the AC was broken, it was on constantly, pretty loud and it didn’t cool all that much. Based on the state of the room, it was clear someone had been trying to fix it but didn’t fix it in time. 'Great hotel if you’re staying in town for business. A spacious room with a great bed and a good shower. I would have liked a thicker comforter; hotel beds are often quite cold and I don’t like sleeping with the heat on. Room is not cleaned unless specifically requested the day before, which was fine for me. I did not get breakfast so I cannot comment on the quality.'

'I thought the Fairmont in San Francisco was the best, but our Gold Suite at the Royal York put SF to shame. The suite, the exclusive lounge, the exclusive elevator — it was definitely worth the price. 'Beautiful view right in the center of downtown. a short walk from many great restaurants and easy access to local metro.
