'We really loved this place. It is just a short distance (a couple blocks) from the beautiful Belmont University. We did a Hop-on Hop-off bus that we caught at Belmont University's Belmont Mansion. "Incredibly spacious apartment. Has everything you need and more. Parking was super easy. Uber takes you downtown within 10 minutes and under $10. There is a swimming pool on the property and also some general facilities you can use. The rail tracks will not bother you as the ones right next to the building seem to be inactive. Security is onsite after 6 or so and the area is quiet. There are some rundown buildings close but the area is in development. The Marathon motor building around the corner is a must-visit and you can also get some breakfast from there although choice is not super varied. Two point to consider are: the floors are super noisy. We were on the 3th floor (of 4) and could hear every footstep of our upstairs neighbors. This could get annoying if you are there for long or you have a lot of folks above you. The water pressure in the shower was not great and the shower head was not adjustable. Other than that this had an unbeatable price for what was offered in that location so I would recommended it in a heartbeat (but ask for a 4th floor room)."
