The apartment is situated in a historic district where the streets are quite narrow. Taxis are unable to access the immediate vicinity of the property, requiring a walk of approximately six minutes over uneven paving stones, which may be challenging when carrying wheeled luggage.
There are 74 uneven steps leading to the apartment, which is comparable to climbing to the sixth floor while carrying luggage, as there is no elevator.
Upon arrival, we noticed a distinct sewage-like odor, and the apartment appeared quite dusty. The furniture showed significant wear, and the sofa was notably soiled. The wardrobes in the bedrooms were disgusting; we did not even want to place our suitcases inside them, let alone use them for clothing storage. An armchair in one of the bedrooms was severely damaged and looked as though it had been chewed by a dog. We contacted the property manager to report the condition of the armchair and were informed that they were aware of the issue and that the chair would be replaced. We suspect this is a standard response given to all guests. Dust was pervasive throughout the apartment.
Regarding the bathrooms, the water temperature in one shower was inconsistent, while the water pressure in the other was very low. Additionally, there was a lack of shelving for toiletries.
Under normal circumstances, we would have walked away from this apartment. However, we arrived late at night and had nowhere else to stay.
