The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful and charming historic buildings in the entire historic center of Naples: Palazzo Tenore Cianci, owned by a family of distinguished men of culture who founded the Royal Botanical Garden. It boasts a list of illustrious former residents that includes Roberto Bracco and even the father of the world-renowned philosopher Gian Battista Vico, who was born there in 1637 in a small apartment that still exists today. The palace is known as “Palazzo di San Gennaro”; in fact, in the early decades of the fourth century A.D., the palace and the entire city block on which it stands already existed, and it was likely a monastic building or convent that prepared young prelates for the priesthood.
