'A very relaxing place to stay. Staff couldn't be more helpful '

'Saw Nyein San Guesthouse is a place that I would highly recommend staying at due to the convenient location and hospitality of the owner. I stayed 2 nights here and the double bedroom was spacious. Air conditioning worked well, and so did the Wi-Fi. The toilet also had a bath tub and hot water was available. When I arrived at 6am by bus, I was able to check in immediately and get a good rest. 'Beautiful room with lovely wooden floorboards and window frames. Comfortable bed. Very reasonably priced. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the service was excellent. Su went out of her way to help with taxi and flight bookings. Will definitely stay there again if I get back to Mandalay again.'

'It's a classic case of "you get what you pay for". The photos online make the place look a bit fancier than it really is. That said, considering it's a budget hotel, the rooms are surprisingly big. 'It was great! It is a luxury tent campground. It would have been great to have a campfire, maybe even one for each tent, it would have made the experience perfect and there is place for it near the tents.'

'Brand new hostel located Nyaung-U center. Room is clean, air condition is working perfectly, nice breakfast at lovely rooftop restaurant, friendly staff... you’ll find everything you need. As taxi drivers don’t know this hostel yet, tell them “next to AYA Bank”. '

'Nice guest house with very happy helpful staff. Offered a choice of rooms the one we chose was spacious clean with a comfy bed and an adequate bathroom. Air con worked fine. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace will keep you going all day. Nice place to sit and chill out as well. Hotel owner very helpful in booking bus tickets to next destination. It's central to most of what you need to see and do in Bagan. Plenty of places to eat a short walk to the end of the road. Recommended.'

'Staff is great and always willing to help. Room is basic, it comes with fridge and ac. Breakfast was decent in a mini buffet style. Good location in Yangon and on the eighth floor of a mixed use building. A lot of restaurants/street food/convenience stores around. Would stay again! '

'Voldeed niet aan de verwachtingen: veel van de voorzieningen waren niet aanwezig zoals WiFi op de kamer, airco, tv, toiletartikelen (zelfs wc papier was er niet!), water,... Er werd ons eerst een kamer aangeboden tegen de receptie. In deze gang wordt overigens ook het ontbijt aangeboden. We vroegen een andere kamer verder van de receptie en kregen deze ook. Alleen was deze ook absoluut niet geluiddicht. Breng zeker oordopjes mee of vraag een kamer op een van de verdiepingen. Qua netheid...
