'The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. 'Het hotel op zich is heel goed. De staff is super vriendelijk en staat altijd voor je klaar. Skiën kon zonder probleem vanuit het hotel. Het hotel heeft ook een mooi zwembad. We vonden het alleen veel te warm in het hotel. De chef-kok was veranderd en de maaltijd 's avonds waren veel te zwaar vergelijken met de twee voorgaande jaren. 'I had a wonderful stay at this hotel despite it being somewhat modest, lacking a proper lobby. However, the reception from and care by India, the property manager was exceptional. I was traveling alone and India made sure all was well with me and that I made myself familiar with everything. For a modest hotel in a pricey area this was truly comfortable and hospitable! 'Great hotel. Great ski in ski out location. One isssue was the location of our room. It had an amazing view over the slopes but the room was right above where all the deliveries came on skidoos, consequently the room was really noisy if you wanted to sleep with the window open (and even with it shut, to some extent). 'End of January we stayed in Hotel Le Val Thorens. Perfect hotel, young, nice, friendly and active personnel working at various locations in the hotel (restaurant, reception, lounge bar, etc).
