'TownePlace is a solid chain. Love the amount of space and comfort these rooms have to offer. This particular hotel in Brooklyn is new (so the price it probably going to quadruple in the next month). The breakfast here was also a much welcomed part of stay. Looking forward to staying here again if the situation arises! '

'Dit hotel is echt een aanrader. Via de metro zit je met een paar minuten in het centrum van New York. Onze kamer zat op de 21e verdieping en we hadden een fantastisch uitzicht over de skyline van Manhattan! Kamer was nieuw en schoon. Het ontbijt is simpel en je eet van wegwerp bordjes, wegwerp bestek en bekers, maar volgens mij is dat het concept. Prima voor een paar dagen. '

'The shower was impossible small. The in room coffee maker had to be replaced to work and was not properly working. One night there was a 3:00 AM argument in the hall, the desk clerk told the participants to knock it off, they went outside and continued their argument until 4:00 AM under my window. The desk clerk said they were sorry and would make it right, but so far nothing. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I am tall and skinny so I could almost take a shower but it is crazy...

'This hotel is quite good! The front desk staff was nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious—my granddaughters loved the pancake machine. It was great that there was a pool table so I taught my granddaughters to play pool. The room itself had plenty of space and the ventilation was very quiet. My only issue was the refrigerator motor which was very noisy.'

'Great base for exploring Brooklyn and accessing Manhattan by subway. Room adequate if a bit dated. Daily service of room. Upfront 'deposit' for Tourist Tax poorly explained - opportunity to reclaim not adequately described. Great Cafe next door (White Noise Coffee) where we had breakfast every morning.'

'Stayed here because it was close to the Barclays Center. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful immediately. Very close to subways and great places to eat! Clean room, bed, bathroom and comfortable for us.'

'Attended wedding @ The Palm House. Hotel close enough to walk to venue in good weather. Staff was welcoming & efficient. Room was clean. Linens & towels were fresh & clean. Renovated fairly recently but quality of tile work a bit shoddy (sloppy grouting). Only bright overhead lights, no bedside or desk lamps. Breakfast was run of mill, if looking for hearty meal, probably plan on eating elsewhere. Decent restaurants within walking distance. We loved The Bobbed Bandit, 429 Rogers Ave. There's...
