'The place was dirty overall and the floors were dirty. People seemed to be loving there and causing constant noise throughout the nights. No smoke alarm in the room either.'

'This was, by far, the least clean property I have ever stayed in. There were signs that it wasn't going to be nice, and certainly not fancy, but I was still shocked by just how dirty the facility is. There were used tissues on the floor under the edge of my bed, the mirrors and television were covered with fingerprints and smudges from attempted cleaning, and the room smelled like smoke - no doubt because the windows were open and there are ashtrays outside each room. As a solo female traveler, I just didn’t feel great about the location, lack of on-site staff, and door locks. A no-frills, roadside motel was not for me, but could be fine for you.'

'I came to Central Valley for a wedding and arrived after midnight to check-in. There is no one at the service desk to help to check in, instead there is a phone number on the door to call. I redialed the number for half an hour in a row before someone finally picked up. They send somebody in pajamas to the front desk to check me in. I went to the room which was just filthy and dusty. I wanted to complain to change the rooms but could not get a hold of anyone. The towels where damp, old, flinsy...

'Cockroaches. 2 towels only. No toilet paper holder. Leaking sink so bathroom floor always wet. Hairdryer ripped out of wall. Window lock broken. Heater broken. Cold air only. Smelled of cigarette smoke.'
