'We spent a night at this lovely place on the outskirts of Montagu. There is a feeling of being out in the country, without actually being too far away from the very pretty town. The room is nicely furnished, very good bed. The views from the private patio are wonderful. Very good breakfast. Unfortunately we didn´t do the tour of the Botanical Products manufacturing, on site - where lovely organic beauty products are lovingly made. We hope to do that next time!'

'From the moment that we checked in, Mike and May the owners made us feel at home. They are such friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was up a flight of steps and Mike carried our cases up for us. Everything anyone could need was there. Spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed. A sitting out area overlooking their gardens. A very safe and secure area from which we walked just a short distance into the town. Highly recommended. '

'An absolute find in this beautiful part of the Karoo. The atmosphere and style is that of a traditional Game Lodge. The food is excellent with a team to match. There are several designated walks within the estate for all levels of ability. The one thing we noticed is how immaculately clean the whole place was, with the pool being the cleanest we've experienced throughout our travels in SA. 'Op doorreis hebben we een overnachting gemaakt in Montagu. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Schone ruime kamer. Ligstoelen rond het zwembad.'

'Het verblijf was aangenaam, wel is het hotel in een zeer oude staat. Kamer 7: geur is verschrikkelijk oud. Het zwembad was vuil. Het personeel maakte veel goed! Iedereen was super vriendelijk en we kregen een warm ontvangst. Het is aan te raden voor 1 nacht, niet langer. '

'Deze mensen zijn 7 jaar geleden begonnen met hun Lodge. Prima verzorgd een hele hartelijke ontvangst, zonder opdringerig te zijn. Je voelt je gelijk thuis, ruime kamer en een gezellige bar en voor de bier liefhebbers een mooie verzameling Belgische bieren. Kunt ook een dag met de heer des huizen op pad voor de omgeving te bekijken. Gasten gesproken die er al een aantal jaren terug komen. Lekker zwembad niet groot maar verzorgd met een prachtig dakterras die uitkijkt over de stad. '

'Very nice property in a lovely town. We got a free upgrade and had a very comfortable room. The service was splendid and the receptionist extremely helpful. Breakfast was great. Bathroom amenities were a little tired but the rest of the experience outweighed this. Great place for a visit to Stellenbosch'
