The location provides easy access to the area and a walkable distance to town. The owners are the best. 'Shell Cottage is a delightful property within a short walk to beach and many restaurants and shops in Camps Bay. Property is mature with lovely gardens and planting , comfortable furnishings. Alia may be THE best VRBO host we have ever had (3-4 rentals /year) - everything you could possibly need with prompt and helpful responses. Priviledge takes great care of you and her warm smile brightens every day. I highly recommend this location and absolutely wonderful accommodations.'

'The property Is in an excellent position and has a lot to offer BUT it needs a lot of TLC The patio door is unsafe as it frequently comes off its runners when opened which could prove a major problem .Also the upstairs bedroom windows were very difficult to open causing the bedroom to be like an oven at night time. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable holiday.'

'Listing stated that the home is 8557 square feet. That is not true, Listing also stated that the home has 3 baths. That also is not true. The method of drying clothes is by using a clothes line behind the home which also gets sprayed by the lawn sprinklers multiple times a day. Home does not have Air Conditioning and was too hot to sleep with windows closed. Home also has a pool which attracts insects which left us and our friends covered in bug bites each morning.'

'We arrived to find the property completely vacant with no furniture. It had clearly not been used for a considerable length of time and was in a state of decay. We had to scramble to find alternative accommodation . I expect a complete refund. I have pictures of the empty cottage if needed.'
