Monroe College New Rochelle Campus

This place is a blast from the past feels like you’re stepping right into 1980s. Smelled like steel cigarettes, and musty. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Well, to start, the place is okay. We only stayed for two nights, so I can’t share too much. The hotel isn’t anything extravagant or luxurious. Although the place was clean, it had a particular odor that I didn’t like. However, the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly, but they weren’t very helpful. Our room was supposed to be cleaned around 12 p.m. since we had left the room, and that’s what we were told. However, when we returned, the bed was still a mess, we didn’t receive any new towels, and the trash hadn’t been removed. We had to go downstairs ourselves to ask for fresh towels. We also had a few issues with our room key cards, but they handled that problem well. Unfortunately, we still had to tidy up our own room and get our own towels. The odor was mainly noticeable on the ground floor, around the lobby where guests are welcomed. The hotel also had a few nice views, depending on which room you were assigned.
