Woonboten in Moalboal

"A piece of paradise 10 mins walk from MoalBoal. Our room was great - had a family room. Beds were comfortable, aircon great, had a fridge, and it was quiet. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was great. The snorkelling right off the beach was some of the best we experienced in the whole of the Philippines. The sardines are about 20 m off shore further down the coast (close to town). We snorkelled there, but if you are not a good swimmer or have little kids, go to town then swim off shore. Town is a nice 10 min walk away with lots of great restaurants / cafes. "

"This accommodation is located around 15-20 min walk from the "hart" of Moalboal including the closest beach. It is an easy walk, or if more preferred, a motorbike or a tuk-tuk ride. The place was kept clean and tidy and the communication with the staff was very easy. They were very helpful with all the questions I had and one of the receptionists has greatly helped me on my last morning when I was heavily mistreated by some of the scam "taxi services". The place hires local people as their staff which I also found very positive. The yard is nicely decorated with a small pool and I especially enjoyed my first morning coffees there. Yes, you will hear the roosters and dogs as the place is embedded in the local community, however, this is nothing that a good pair of sleep earplugs wont resolve. I would always recommend this accommodation, primary because of a very kind stuff, and also because it is far enough from the madness and noise of the "central" Moalboal, and still close enough to get places. "
